22日にキリストの受難＋死を記念する日としてグッドフライデー、24日にキリストの復活を祝うイースター、そしてユダヤ教のイベント過ぎ越し祭を予定しております。おかげさまでキリスト教関連を中心に、Facebookやメールでイベントのお誘いが送られること送られること。

とロシア系アメリカ人のイベント・プロモーターからのお誘いです。28ドルでブランチが食べれて、ドリンクは無制限一本勝負！！！いいですね～。ロウアーイーストサイドのPOCOには出掛けたことがありませんが、Paradouにはアジア系アメリカ人が店長だった当時によく出掛けたものです。週末はブランチで盛り上がってるんですよね。ときにゲイの方々がおお賑わいしていて、楽しさ度がUPすることも。正直メニューの味わいとプライスには、ゲンナリしてしまいますが・・。

うーん、便乗しまくりでイースターの「イ」の字も感じませんな。ちなみにGriffinでは、40代と思しきベテランの日本人のバーテンさんが勤務されていらっしゃいます。私がかつて元FugeesのWyclif Jeanのイベントに参加した際、発見しました。当時は1杯サービスしていただいて、本物のカクテルの味わいに酔ったものです。

4月18日から1週間にわたって開催される過ぎ越しのお祭りでは、こんなメールが飛び込んで参りました。
Passover UNseder Saturday April 23rd
Passover is a time of reflection on freedom and spirituality, it is an opportunity to reconnect and share experiences and food.
Seder means order; the first Seder of the year is tonight April 18th. All over the world families will gather, break matzoh, eat it sit around telling the story of the Israelites Exodus from slavery in Egypt, drink 4 glasses of wine and recline (sit) for many many hours.
In honor of this occasion we invite you to the first "UNSEDER". Saturday the 23rd at 8:00pm.
It will be disorganized, there will be no wine, and hopefully more people than seats, so good luck reclining.
Also, we will be providing a couple of Seder staples but could really use your help with a potluck dish.
Please no alcohol and in honor of passover please do not bring pork dishes or breads and cakes that have leavening. It will be open house and very casual so come whenever you like, leave whenever you like…
Please RSVP and let us know what genre of food your bringing so we can round out the gaps.
We can’t wait to see you and start this new "UNSEDER" tradition!!!

さすがコアでは深々深いユダヤ教徒であるトレーダーなだけに厳格にお酒なし、豚肉なし、イースト菌を含む食品（パン類、ケーキ）なし、ときました。この方にはお世話になったんですけど、無類の酒好き＋豚肉大好物の私には、非常にきつい。というわけで、残念ながら今年はイースターも過ぎ越しの祭も関係なく、ひたすら引越しの準備にいそしみます・・・。
